A Tibetan school in India has been given the certificate of appreciation by CBSE for excellent academic performance. In the social media update shared by the official handles of the Tibetan school, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has recognised it with a certificate for excellent academic performance in the board exams taken by its students.
Tibetan Homes School in Mussoorie, India produced excellent results at the board exams of both class 10 and 12. According to the certificate of appreciation, the Tibetan school has produced a pass percentage of more than 90% by its students in past three consecutive years. According to the certificate, Tibetan Homes School has been certified as the Category A+ of its affiliated schools.
“This office appreciates the efforts of the school management of Tibetan Homes School Happy Valley Mussoorie, Dehradun Uttarakhand its principal and teachers for imparting Quality Education which has resulted in sustaining the Academic results of SSC/AISSCE in category A+ (>90% pass percentage) for last three consecutive years i.e., 2018, 2019 & 2020.” said the certificate of appreciated issued to the school through CBSE’s regional office in Dehradun on last Thursday.
A total of 19 Tibetan students have secured above 95% marks in the class 12 CBSE results this year. Out of them 15 of those students are from Tibetan Homes School. Department of Education of Central Tibetan Administration announced that the achievement is a historic milestone for the Tibetans and they will be awarded the Sikyong Scholarship Award whichhas being rolled out to encourage Tibetan students to work harder and perform better in the board exams since 2013.
The Tibetan Homes School had also topped the CBSE class 12 exams in Mussoorie region in India. Following the announcement of CBSE class 12 results this year, students from the Tibetan school surprised the entire Tibetan diaspora with excellent results. The school topper is also the topper among all the students from schools in the region of Mussoorie.
