Tibetan Girl Wins Double Silver Medal for India in Kickboxing

Tibetan Mixed Martial Arts fighter Ms. Tenzin Pema has yet again won two silver medals representing India at “The 3nd International  Thai Martial Arts Games And Festival 2018” in Bangkok. This is the second year Ms. Pema has represented India at the World Championship event in Thailand and won medals.

The MMA fighter who has participated in “The 2nd International  Thai Martial Arts Games And Festival 2018” which is taking place in Bangkok between 12-22 March 2018 and according to the athlete’s social media page, Ms. Pema has won two silver medals for India in Kickboxing.

“Today in Glory Kickboxing, I got silver medal again for India. Yesterday in K1 kickboxing, I got silver medal for India.” announced the Tibetan MMA fighter along with several pictures from the event on her social media page on Friday.

The Tibetan MMA fighter and boxer had also won the Bronze medal at “The 2nd International  Thai Martial Arts Games And Festival 2017” and also in the Senior Women’s category of the 9th National Grappling Championship held at the Talkatora Indoor stadium in Delhi from 9-11 August, 2016.

Hailing as the first Tibetan woman boxer, Tenzin Pema, 24, a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) player is currently living in New Delhi. Since turning professional at the start of 2016, she has won gold, silver, bronze in State and National level fights.
