In the latest results of the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, the Tibetan topper from all Tibetan schools in India has secured 94% while 8 of 17 Tibetan schools have produced 100% results. The CBSE class 12 exam results were on last Thursday and the Tibetan students have done well.
As the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) class 12 exams results were announced, the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala published the summary result of the Tibetan students and their school. According to the results, Tibetan students have improved their results as compared to the previous year results.
“From 17 Tibetan schools, 1133 students appeared in the examination held in March 2019, out of which 1100 have cleared the exam, 28 students were placed in the compartment category and 5 students have failed. The overall pass percentage is 97% which is 1.44 better than the last year with 95.56%.” said the official report by CTA.
Karma Phuntsok Dawa from TCV Selakui has topped among the Tibetan students by securing 470 of 500 with 94% followed by Tenzin Gangtso with 92% from STS Bylakuppe and Lhamo Tsering with 91% from THF Mussoorie.
