Three Tibetans Robbed Of More Than Rs. 3 Lac In Ludhiana

Three Tibetans robbed of more than Rs. 3 lakhs in Ludhiana, India according to the report in Tibet Times in Tibetan language. A duo on bike had suddenly looted three Tibetans in Ludhiana, Punjab earlier this month according to the report and the police has registered a case in this matter.

“Three Tibetans, Thupten and his wife Nyima along with a friend arrived to the Ludhiana railway station around 5 in the morning on the 14th of this month to prepare for their winter business. They took a cycle rickshaw to reach Shri Ram market and suddenly two Indians on bike appeared from Hazari road and snatched their bag, vanished from the scene.” said the report in Tibet Times.

Even though Thupten and his friend tried to chase the thieves, they escaped from the scene. Besides the motor bike did not bear a number plate according to the victims. According to the report, the Tibetans had Rs. 3 Lakhs in cash, two smartphones, few bank cheque books and their registers of their previous business dealings.

The Tibetans hail from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India and they visit Ludhiana, Punjab, India every year during this season to buy their stocks for the winter business they carry out. They generally stays at a hotel in Shri Ram Market during their visits to Ludhiana.
