Tibetan Youth Says Thank You India with this Poem

A Tibetan youth says Thank You India with a beautiful poem ahead of the year marking 60th years of the Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama stepping foot on the Indian soil in exile. The following is the original poem from the young Tibetan refugee:

Koti Naman Incredible India

Bharat’s ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’,
A cosmopolitan of “Unity in Diversity”,
Believes in “Atithi Devo Bhava”,
A home for Astika and Nastika,
Not only did she invent ‘Shunya’,
But became a birthplace of ‘Ahimsa’,
And also a center for many seekers,
A home for ‘Nalanda’ and ‘Taxila’,
Her ‘tolerance’ and ‘acceptance’ gesture,
Welcomed and accepted Tibetans in her palm,
She became a home away from home for Tibetans,
A Home for homeless and ‘Satyameva Jayate’,

We as Tibetans owe a lot to you,
Koti Naman Incredible India

The gratitude song is appreciated. But it is about time that Dalai Lama, before his departure from this world, departs for Tibet with All Tibetans and becomes Rome of the East, with the help of India and the World.
