With growing backlash against China, short videos sharing platform TikTok is facing stronger campaigns for its ban in India. Since the outbreak of Coronavirus from China, larger number of people have become critical of Chinese origin platforms. The mandatory affiliation to Chinese government’s censorship and information sharing policies are the major concerns.
