Resolution to Highlight “Taiwan” on Passport, Airline Instead of “China”
A resolution has been passed in the legislative Yuan to highlight the word ‘Taiwan’ on Passports and Airline presently dominated by the word ‘China’. The Taiwanese legislative last week passed a unanimous resolution to improve the sense of Taiwanese independence through the designs of their passports and the name of their national carrier.

Dalai Lama Congratulates Tsai Ing Wen on Landslide Re-election Victory
The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama in a letter to Tsai Ing Wen, he has commended and congratulated her the victory over re-election for president of Taiwan. His Holiness has further conveyed his confidence her Tsai’s administration in bringing peace and prosperity to the people of Taiwan.

Taiwan’s Ruling Party Representatives Visit Dalai Lama in India
A delegation of Taiwan’s ruling party led by the party secretary has visited the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama in India to wish him well. The delegation has informed that they have discussed on various topics such as democracy and freedom in Taiwan as well as about the Tibetan freedom struggle.
