The former president has made a statement for the 7th World Parliamentarians’ Convention on Tibet taking place in Riga, Latvia from 7-10 May.

The former president of Republic of Botswana in South Africa is all set to travel to India on Friday and visit the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the latter’s residence. The incumbent government of the African state has sternly opposed to his visit; fearing Chinese backlash.
