The Tibetan political head Dr. Lobsang Sangay who has been in Brussels in to attend The 7th International Tibet Support Groups Conference has called for the unity of Tibetans from all three provinces of Tibet while speaking to the local Tibetan public gathering on last Sunday.
“Since the time we lost our freedom and sought exile in 1959, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has continuously called for the unity of Tibetan people across the three traditional provinces of Tibet. The resilience and strength of the Tibetan struggle movement have been exemplified by our compatriots inside Tibet. So, those of us in exile must shoulder our responsibility towards strengthening our cause with unity and harmony as our backbone. On behalf of the 15th Kashag, I urge everyone gathered here today to move forward with affirmed unity and conviction to fulfill the aspirations of our supreme leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and our compatriots inside Tibet.” the Sikyong said according the report in official website of Central Tibetan Administration.
During the address, Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay informed the public that the 7th International TSG Conference that was attended by around 250 representatives from 50 countries has expressed their continued support for the non-violent struggle of the Tibetan people, restoration of freedom for Tibetans inside Tibet, and the return of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Tibet.
Sikyong also informed that the 34th Kalachakara that is scheduled in the coming January which being organised by the Central Tibetan Administration, is undertaking all initiatives to ensure the safety of His Holiness the Dalai Lama above all, and to ensure utmost convenience for the devotees.

While at the same time, the Sikyong also advised that education is the key to solve the Tibet issue and encouraged the youth strive for excellence in their fields of studies. He also urged the Tibetans to pay attention to preserve the Tibetan language within the community.
