The Chief Minister (CM) of Indian state of Sikkim, Shri Pawan Chamling posted a devoted wish to the Buddhist spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama for his 83rd birthday on Facebook. The CM in the post extended his warm wishes for the birthday and said the prayers of long and a healthy life for His Holiness.
“Warm wishes to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his 83rd birthday! I wish His Holiness good health and a long life. May he continue to touch the lives of all sentient beings with his teachings of love, compassion, peace and non-violence.” posted CM Chamling on his Facebook post along with a picture taken with the Tibetan spiritual leader.
Earlier this year, scheduled visit of the Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Sikkim in the month March 2018 had to be cancelled at the advice of the doctor as an extended two-month visit within India taking in to 8 different towns and cities led to His Holiness experience much exhaustion during that time.
