Bollywood Superstar Meets H. H. The Dalai Lama In Ladakh

The Bollywood blockbuster director, Ali Abbas Zafar, who have given back to back 300 crore movies at the Box Office says he is inspired by the spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama and others icons like Nelson Mandela. According to an entertainment report post the release of his directorial Bharat, he speaks of his inspirational persons.

Ali has now made three back to back movies of Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, who himself met the Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama when the duo happened to be visiting Ladakh at the same time back in 2016. Ali says in the report that when you listen to His Holiness, you realize how simply he looks at the world.

Nelson Mandela inspired me, he says. So did the Dalai Lama. “You listen to him and realise how simply he sees the world. The first instinct of all these great men,” he said according to the report by The Print, “is and was always humane and emotional.”. Besides, his movies have been of the proof that he takes Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi as his heros.

Zafar entered the film industry as an assistant director, with multiple projects for the production company Yash Raj Films (YRF). He then made his own directorial and screen-writing debut with the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011). Before his directional for Salman Khan, Bharat, he directed blockbuster Salman Khan movies Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017 and Sultan in 2018.
