Online registration now mandatory to enter Himachal

Dharamshala, 20th August: For visitors to Himachal Pradesh, online registration has been made required once more. In an order issued on Wednesday, Chief Secretary-cum-Chairperson of State Executive Committee Ram Subhag Singh stated, “All inter-state movement to the state will be monitored through registration on COVID e-registration software of the Himachal government,”

“Children below 18 years of age, if accompanied by parents or guardians with vaccination certificate for both doses or negative RTPCR/RAT reports too are exempted from e-registration,” he added.

The administration, on the other hand, exempted some groups of people from the order’s terms. Industrialists, traders, suppliers, factory workers, project proponents, service providers, government officials, and persons visiting the state for medical reasons are among those who commute daily or on weekends.

Similarly, all goods carriers, whether loaded or unloaded, as well as the transportation of goods or cargo for inland and exports, are immune from any Covid restrictions when entering or exiting the state, he noted. The state administration had previously issued an order on August 10 mandating a negative COVID-19 report or full vaccination for all visitors to the hill state beginning August 13.
