The royal wedding of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle that took place in May last year had actually different plans. Some reports event suggested that Prince Charles, a friend of the Tibetan spiritual leader, to have recommended inviting the Dalai Lama. Although it is not clear whether His Holiness the Dalai Lama would have been able to attend the royal wedding, considering his advanced age and reduced overseas engagements, Meghan Markle has long been following His Holiness’s teachings according the reports.
