Kalachakara Initiations To Begin One Day Earlier Then Its Schedule

The 34th Kalachakara initiations by His Holiness the Dalai Lama scheduled at the holy place of Bodh Gaya is set to begin one day earlier then it’s schedule. The biggest Buddhist religious event which was scheduled to begin in Bodh Gaya on 3rd January 2017 will now begin from 2nd January 2017.

The official website of Central Tibetan Administration informed through a news report. “The upcoming 34th Kalachakra at Bodh Gaya will begin from 2 January and not 3 January as earlier announced.” told the report in an important update.

“The development came after His Holiness the Dalai Lama decided to add an extra day for the preliminary teachings of the Kalachakra initiation. Rest of the schedule for the Kalachakra remains unchanged.” added the report.

This Kalachakara Initiations is being organized by the Central Tibetan Administration and according to the organizer, it is expected to be attendwd by around 2,00,000 devotees from across the world.
