The former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan shares his special bond with the His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The actor on the occasion of 85th birthday of the Tibetan spiritual leader shared a message of love and wishes on the social media. Brosnan has been on a self isolation quarantine period since returning to Hawaii from London.
When the spiritual leader turned 85 this July 6, former James Bond took to the Instagram with a beautiful throwback picture with him. Pierce Brosnan popularly recognized by his roles in James Bond movies described about the picture and wished His Holiness the Dalai Lama a very happy 85th birthday.
“Happy 85th birthday your Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This was photo taken nineteen years ago in San Francisco, our son Paris Brosnan was just a few months old. Keely Shaye Brosnan her Mum Sharon and I spent a few moments with his Holiness (as he blessed Paris) before I introduced His Holiness on stage. Wishing you every blessing and good health on your 85th year.” posted the Irish-American actor on Instagram.
The actor is a well known follower of the Tibetan spiritual leader. In the past, he had traveled all the way to Dharamshala in India to have an audience with the His Holiness. Brosnan funds different Tibetan projects including the donation of 300,000 Pounds he got from his Irish wedding photographs in the year 2001 to build School for Tibetan children who needed somewhere to learn.
