Indians Campaign to Rename Road to Chinese Embassy as Dalai Lama Marg

In a renewed intensity and commitment, many Indians have embraced a campaign demanding renaming of the road to Chinese embassy as Dalai Lama marg. The online campaign is popular on the social media platform Twitter gathering thousands of support. This has come up during a time when India and China are involved in yet another border dispute.

The online petition addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been launched for the renaming of Panchsheel Marg outside the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi’s Chanakyapuri “as the Dalai Lama Marg.” The Chinese Embassy has three roads around it, Shanti Path, Panchsheel Marg and Nayaya Marg.
