In Chinese custody, an Arunachal teen was tortured and subjected to electric shocks.

Dharamshala, 3rd February: According to ANI who cited Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tapir Gao, an Arunachal Pradesh youngster who was beaten up and given electric shocks while in the custody of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is a serious concern. Gao, who represents Arunachal East in the Lok Sabha, originally tweeted on January 19 that the Chinese Army had kidnapped Miram Taron, a 17-year-old Indian citizen.

Arunachal Pradesh and China have a 1,080-kilometer border. Jonny Yaying, Taron’s friend, claimed that the two were part of a hunting party at Lungta Jor, which is close to the Line of Actual Control, when Chinese soldiers kidnapped the youngster on January 18.

The central government had not issued an official reaction to the kidnapping allegations, but the Indian Army had requested assistance from the People’s Liberation Army to locate the missing boy and return him in accordance with procedure.

On January 27, he has turned over by the Chinese Army. His father, on the other hand, said that his son had been kicked multiple times and abused while in captivity. Such events would continue to occur, according to the MP, until the Indian government addresses the boundary dispute. Arunachal Pradesh has long been claimed by China as part of its South Tibet province.
