The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama is set to make a visit to the state of Karnataka later this week. His Holiness after completing his visit to the Kullu Manali region in Himachal Pradesh arrived in New Delhi last Sunday. He will be taking part in a national conference during the visit to the state of south India.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will arrive in Mangaluru city of Karnataka on Thursday afternoon and will spend the next two days there. As per the schedule, apart from private functions on Thursday and Friday, His Holiness will be attending a national conference organized by the All India Association of Catholic Schools at the Fr. Muller Auditorium.
“Tibetan spiritual leader The Dalai Lama will visit the city on August 29 and 30 to attend a private function here, official sources said. The Dalai Lama is scheduled to attend the national conference by All India association of catholic schools at Fr Muller Auditorium, Kankanady on August 30.” said report by PTI on Tuesday.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will arrive at the Mangaluru International Airport on August 29 at 12.20 pm and will stay in the city for the next two days. He will attend the conference the next day and leave for Bengaluru at 7 am on August 31.
Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil is taking care of the security and arrangements for the visit and has given instructions to officials, according to the report.
