29 More Hotels in McLeod Ganj Lose Power Connections

Dharamshala, 6th June: The Himachal Pradesh administration agreed on Saturday to prolong the lockdown till June 14 because of the ongoing COVID-19 scenario in the state. After Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over a meeting with his Cabinet, the decision was made. Following the meeting, it was declared that the state’s ‘corona curfew’ would be prolonged until 6 a.m. on June 14th. It was also resolved at the meeting that the state government would look into purchasing more vaccines directly from the manufacturers. The Cabinet determined that COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals following recovery should have access to the phone consultation.

Today, 787 new Covid cases were reported in the state, bringing the total to 193,924, according to the Tribune. In addition, 27 people have died as a result of the virus in the last 24 hours: five in Una and Kangra, four in Sirmaur, three in Bilaspur and Kullu, two in Mandi, and Hamirpur, and one each in Shimla, Solan, and Chamba.
Shimla had 147 instances, followed by Hamirpur with 140, Mandi with 138, Chamba with 71, Hamirpur with 68, Una with 52, Solan with 50, Sirmaur with 39, Mandi with 36, Bilaspur with 20, and Kinnaur with 13 apiece.
