The Dalai Lama’s present visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh states of India has been strongly politicised by Chinese criticism. The Chinese government’s repeat opposition against the Indian government was not complied by the later and the former warned that the event has destroyed the sound relationship between the two countries.

The Tibetan prime minister in exile Dr. Lobsang Sangay also spoke recently in a Indian national news television channel that the Modi government’s approach about the Tibet issue with China turned from closed doors to that of open doors. In never seen before reactions from Indian government representatives, the Arunachal chief minister boldly said that India shares border with Tibet and not that of China!
