Dalai Lama Returns To Dharamsala From Europe Tour

His Holiness the Dalai Lama returns to Dharamsala from 15 day Europe tour today. His Holiness has successfully concluded his visit to four nation tour across Europe between September 10 to September 15 this year and returned to his residence, Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh India this afternoon.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama left from Dharamsala on September 8 this year and visited United Kingdoms, Germany, Italy and Latvia. His Holiness gave a public talk on Compassion in Action organized by Children in Crossfire to be held at the Millennium Forum in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on September 10, public talk on Global Ethics – Shared Values and participate in the morning session of a one-day conference on Western Science and Buddhist Perspectives in Frankfurt, Germany between September 13 and September 14 respectively.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited five cities in Italy between September 16 to September 20 where he gave series of public talks. His Holiness gave a 2-day teaching in the mornings on Kamalashila’s The Middling Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa) and Tsongkhapa’s Concise Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dudon) Riga, Latvia on September 23 and 24 following which he gave a public talk on Harmony Without Boundaries in the afternoon on September 25.

On returning to his residence today, His Holiness will give four days of teachings on Chandrakirti’s Entering the Middle Way (uma jukpa) at the request of Taiwanese between 3rd October and 6th October this year.
