The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama has returned to his temporal abode in Dharamsala after a visit to New Delhi for a medical checkup. His Holiness had caught a common cold and had left for a medical checkup on Monday, returning back on Thursday absolutely fine according to his personal physician.
According to the report by Voice of Tibet where the personal physician to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Dr Tsetan Dorji informed that post His Holiness catching a common cold recently, the visit to New Delhi was to have checkup by consulting a specialist doctor. After the treatment and prescription, His Holiness has recovered completely and returned to Dharamsala.
The personal physician also added that despite the increased exhaustion with advanced age, His Holiness is not facing any issue over his health.
Due to this increased exhaustion, most of foreign travels for His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been cut short recently. While the Tibetan spiritual leader remains actively engaged in programs and events scheduled within India, there is only a visit to Switzerland in September as of now for this year.
