Dalai Lama Reaffirms to Live More Than 110 Years at Long Life Prayer

The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama has reaffirmed to live more than 110 years at the long life offering made by the Tibetans. His Holiness acknowledged the long life offerings from the spiritual and general public representatives of the Tibetan people at the Main Temple in Mcleod Ganj, Dharamshala.

As requested by the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala, His Holiness the Dalai Lama accepted the Long Life Prayer offered to him by people of the three provinces of Tibet and Tibetan spiritual traditions (cholsum choegyud) in the morning at the Main Tibetan Temple.

His Holiness greatly appreciated of the prayers coming from the combined common people of the three provinces of Tibet and the Tibetan spiritual communities. He explained that although he has reached the advanced age of 84, the age of the first Dalai Lama’s life time, he said that keeps praying for longer life.

While acknowledging the unwavering faith and devotion being shown by his followers especially the Tibetans, he explained that there are omens of him living till the age of 113. His Holiness even shared a dream he had about him swimming with the state oracle Palden Lhamo riding on his neck and telling him that there is no doubt him living till the age of 110. His Holiness explained at the prayers offering that although we can not rely too much on dreams, his long life is not an impossibility if his health retains well.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama also told at the gathering that he now needs to rest more to live longer and not engage in a busy schedule. His Holiness also acknowledged that he believes he has been of some help to the entire world and he keeps praying for his reincarnation to be born wherever there is his need.

The long life offering prayers were presided over by the heads of all the major spiritual traditions of the Tibetans and the heads of the Central Tibetan Administration. Besides, the prayers offering was attended by thousands of people including the Tibetans as well as people from various countries.

    could you tell us through the scientific way every time you are presented as a god .we living in exile for 70 years in failure? we all are human, not a real god and must accept the failure one in exile and how long we could stay in exile there are also exist individual private right too which you put in politic. you can say that we came to exile to fight the china for Tibet so why don’t you give the gun and send them to fight against China?? why you killing every Tibetan in a silence way in exile so long ?? didn’t see how much world is changing so fast and Tibetan living in the same style in the past ???
