Dalai Lama Leaves For Public Talk In New Delhi

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama leaves for a public talk in New Delhi. His Holiness left from his residential town Dharamshala this afternoon to public talk in New Delhi at Talkatora Stadium on 5th February which is being organised by the Vidyaloke.

The public talk is the inaugural public talk of the organiser, Vidyaloke. Vidyaloke is an initiative towards revitalizing that ancient tradition, rebuilding an intellectual lineage in this century, according their website. His Holiness the Dalai Lama will talk about Reviving Indian Wisdom in Contemporary India.

“Through His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama as Vidyaloke’s first torchbearer, we will bring you to the wisdom that arose in this land; to wisdom that flourished in the minds of ancient scholars and has today seeped into every aspect of our culture.” says the official website of Vidyaloke.

Vidyaloke is an initiative towards revitalizing that ancient tradition, rebuilding an intellectual lineage in this century.

“From 8 – 9 February, His Holiness will visit the St Mary’s School and Vivekananda International Foundation in Delhi. On 11 and 12 February, His Holiness will visit and give a talk at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad. His Holiness also have public engagements in Vijayawada city.” said the report in the official website of Central Tibetan Administration about this short trip of His Holiness in India.

According to the report, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will return to Dharamshala on 13th February.
