The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama upon arrival at the Gaggal airport in Dharamsala, his temporal hometown in exile, on Wednesday replied to the reporters that despite a little tiredness, his health is normal. This message puts an end to all the rumours spread in the media about the spiritual leader suffering from a failing health.
“Normal, of course, a little bit tired, but otherwise normal,” said the Dalai Lama when questioned about his health at the Gaggal airport in Kangra district on Wednesday afternoon according to the report in the Tribune. The Tibetan spiritual leader was returning from a week long visit to the Baltic states of Lithuania and Latvia where he gave two public talks, met with supporter groups and three days of teaching to his followers.
Amidst viral speculation of the Tibetan spiritual leader suffering from failing health, his secretary as well as the spokesperson of the Central Tibetan Administration and the personal physician His Holiness the Dalai Lama, publicly clarified that those reports were completely baseless. Besides, the Tibetan officials informed that their spiritual leader is in perfect health and the public need not be worried from the speculated reports.
Besides the complaint about feeling exhaustion in making long distance journeys and following a tight schedule, His Holiness’s programs are ever increasing rather than decreased engagements. The 82 year old spiritual leader completed a six day visit to the Baltic region in Europe on Tuesday and returned to his temporal abode in exile, Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh, India.
