The office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has launched a new iOS app called the Dalai Lama app today according to the news article published in its official website. The app is being launched coinciding with His Holiness’s visit to the Drepung Monastery and the anniversary of Je Tsongkhapa, founder of the Gelukpa Tradition.
“Coinciding with His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s arrival at Drepung Monastery, which was known in Tibet as a New Nalanda University, and Ganden Ngachö, the anniversary of Je Tsongkhapa, founder of the Gelukpa Tradition, the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has released ‘Dalai Lama’, a new iPhone App now available for download at the Apple App Store” said the article in the official website of OHHDL today.
The app is aimed at keeping the followers tay up to date with what His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It said that with the Dalai Lama app stay up to date with what His Holiness is doing, his travels, and his teachings. Get official news, videos, and photos from His Holiness’s Office, including live video streams when they are available.
However, this is only available in the App store of the Apple devices at the moment. The app has been released on Tuesday in Mundgod, India. Interestingly, the app will allow the users to access official pictures and videos including the live streaming of his numerous teachings across the world, in addition to all basic accesses and informations.
