The founder of Strat News Global, Mr. Nitin Gokhale has report that the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi threatened for comparing Xi Jinping and Hitler. A video post by the news agency at the beginning of this month compared Chinese president to dictator Adolf Hitler but it was not received well by China and reached out to take the video down!
The video titled Xi-Tler? Xi Jinping Emulating Adolf Hitler! is a seven minute long published by the news portal on August 1 this year. The post compares the ‘expansionist designs’ of both Hitler and Xi Jinping. According to The Print, it further spoke about similarities between how the two leaders’ rules as heads of state began and how they eliminated their political opponents, among other commonalities.
Nitin Gokhale in an interview on August 7 revealed that Ji Rong, the spokesperson of the Chinese embassy in India called him to raise objections upon the video. He has revealed that Ji demanded the video be deleted or face ‘negative consequences’. However, Nitin says that he informed Ji that deleting the video is not an option but he invited to submit a letter contesting/refuting the video. He has promised to published the letter unedited.
“Adolf Hitler, who arrogated absolute power to himself in 20th century Germany, went on to change the course of world history by igniting the second World War. Nearly a decade after he died, another person born in faraway China, worked his way up to form the ‘core’ of the Communist Party. That’s President Xi Jinping, whose so-called China dream and unbridled powers have translated into an expansionist behaviour that threatens world peace. His actions bear an uncanny resemblance to those of Hitler.” said the description of the video that Strat Times posted on Youtube.
