China Claims Tibet Human Rights Critics Enchanted by Dalai Lama

The Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the German Parliament in a statement released on Monday criticized China over the human rights situations inside Tibet. Following the criticism, China immediately responded in a bizarre blame game claiming such critics being enchanted by the Dalai Lama.

“The Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the German Parliament called China to “immediately stop the repression of the Tibetan people” and “resume dialogue with the legitimate representatives of the Tibetans”, in a joint statement made public today.” said the official report by Central Tibetan Administration on Monday.

This year marks the 60th anniversary since the Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s flight to exile from Tibet. China is defending their occupation of Tibet by claiming to have peacefully liberated Tibet while the international community in support of the Tibetan government in exile criticizes the hostile human rights conditions inside Tibet.

Western countries including the United States have repeated criticized China for their repressive and discriminatory policies against Tibetans inside Tibet. China’s claim over its authority in the recognition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s reincarnation very recently has exposed the atheist regime’s manipulation over the religious rights of the Tibetan Buddhists.

The Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the German Parliament’s statement added that they have deep respect for the Tibetan culture and its sympathy for and solidarity with the peaceful, oppressed Tibetan people while it also recommended China to grab the opportunity in resolving the issue of Tibet through His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s revolutionary proposition of the Middle Way Approach to avoid possible conflicts in future.
