President Xi Jingping is also chairman of the Central Military Commission who said that the armed forces of the country must devise strategies for the new era and take on responsibilities for preparing and waging war.
“The world is facing a period of major changes never seen in a century, and China is still in an important period of strategic opportunity for development,” he was quoted as saying.
The news followed after the rebuttal of comments over reunification of Taiwan between Xi Jingping and Taiwan president Tsai Ing-wen, Trump’s implementation of a law regarding the US commitment in South Asian Island’s security and so on.
