The Bollywood veteran Juhi Chawla has shared pictures from her Tibet trip recently on her social media accounts such as Twitter and Instagram. Juhi’s wonderful pictures in front of the stunning Potala Palace in Lhasa as well as those pictures at the sacred Manasarover lake is breathtakingly inspiring of Tibet’s beauty.
Bollywood actor’s escapade to the Roof of the World, Tibet en route Nepal, besides visiting the majestic Potala Palace in the capital of Tibet, Lhasa, her itinerary also included the sacred Manasarover as well as the Kailash mountain according to her social media updates.
“In Lhasa ,Tibet …i thought no one would know me there … but the locals watch hindi movies , and were taken aback when they saw me .In the bazaar was even a poster of Salman , with Tibetan features !!” Juhi Chawla shared a picture of with a group of young Tibetan ladies in Lhasa. The actor has shared a photo with her family in front of the Potala Palace as posted above.
“At Lake Manasarovar, also called Mapam Yumtso, is a high altitude freshwater lake fed by the Kailash Glaciers. At that height , the sun is so strong , the hat is a necessity not an accessory…” Juhi posted along with a picture in front of the sacred lake.

Besides sharing the pictures of her trip, the Bollywood veteran also advised the fellow Indian pilgrims who has littered sacred lakes and sites in Tibet during their visits.

Tibet since China’s forced invasion from 1950s, large number of troops have been deployed across the country to contain any sort of revolution from the Tibetans. Chinese government has imposed strict restrictions over free travel both upon the local Tibetans as well as the foreign visitors.
