The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh state of India refers India’s border with Tibet and not China. During a period of high tension along the borders, the issue of Tibet has been elevated. With serious tensions for India from the Chinese side in Tibet, discussion of the issue of Tibet is highly relevant not only for India but also the whole world.
In a recent tweet from the CM Pema Khandu, he referred to the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the loosely defined border between Indian territory and China controlled territories as the Indo-Tibet border. This is relevant as long as India recognizes the fact that China illegally occupied Tibet irrespective of any other circumstances.

Twenty Indian soldiers including a Colonel were killed in a “violent face-off” recently with Chinese troops at Galwan Valley in Ladakh in a massive escalation after weeks of tension at the border. India retaliated and there were casualties on both sides, said the Indian army while China has never openly accepted the matter.
Dr. Sangay, President of exile Tibetan administration explained that there was no tension along the borders for India before China occupied Tibet. Since Chinese invasion of Tibet, there has been border incursions along India’s borders. He added that solving the issue of Tibet is the key to solving long standing border disputes between the two Asian giants.
