Tenzin Seldon Awarded United Nations Innovative Disruptor Award

The young Tibetan entrepreneur based in the United States has been awarded with the prestigious United Nations Innovative Disruptor Award on Saturday. Tenzin Seldon was recognized for her social entrepreneurship program that helps immigrants with their livelihood and development in the US with this prestigious award at a ceremony in New York.

Tenzin Seldon was awarded the United Nations Innovative Disruptor Award at the UN Novus Summit held in New York on Saturday. The young Tibetan entrepreneur was recognized for her efforts in empowering refugees. The award ceremony was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

“Tibetan entrepreneur Tenzin Seldon was awarded the United Nations Innovative Disruptor Award at the UN NOVUS Summit in New York. The award ceremony was held on July 20, 2019, at the United Nations Headquarters.” said the official report in website of Central Tibetan Administration on Monday.

The report also added that the award was presented to a community of innovators who have inspired and empowered others into innovative thinking and creative activism. Tenzin Seldon was recognised for her work with empowering refugees and environmentalism.

Tenzin Seldon is based in California, United States of America was listed in the reputed American business magazine Forbe’s list of 30 under 30 social entrepreneur in the year 2018. She was listed for her initiative, The Kinstep which a technology based enterprise which helps the immigrants to connect with value-aligned companies for a perfect job.
