Dalai Lama Leaves Dharamshala Week Long Visit

His Holiness the Dalai Lama leaves Dharamshala for a week long visit to three cities in India this morning. His Holiness left from Dharamshala this morning to engage in a three city tour in India where he will be first traveling to Delhi from where he will set off to Bhubaneshwar and then finally to Kolkata.

“His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala today for a week-long visit to Delhi, Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata. In Delhi, His Holiness will give talks at Salwan Public School and Smile Foundation on 18 and 19 November. His Holiness will depart for Bhubaneshwar, Orissa on 20 November to speak at the Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS). On 22 November, His Holiness will visit Kolkata, West Bengal. He will deliver a talk on ‘Revival of Ancient Indian Knoweldge’ at the Indian Chamber of Commerce.” said the report in the official website of Central Tibetan Administration.

While His Holiness is schedule to reach back to his temporal home, Dharamshala on 26th November, he is also schedule for a south India tour in December and then later to spend more than a month in Bihar at Bodh Gaya.

His Holiness will give a public talk on Reviving Indian Wisdom in Contemporary India at Somaiya Vidyavihar, Mumbai in the morning of December 10, organized by Vidyaloke in collaboration with Somaiya Vidyavihar. Dalai Lama will spend more than a month in Bodh Gaya during his up coming visit to the holy place from the end of December. His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s updated schedule says that he will be arrive in Bodh Gaya on December 26 this year in update against the previous schedule of January 2.
